Hmmm….been ages since I’ve been around this blog. Maybe there’ll be something new in the next little while.

An Acer 20" wide-screen LCD monitor to be exact. Rounds out the hardware upgrade, and I can say after seeing this baby, I can`t even imagine looking at anything less again (although I do use the old monitor for lesser viewing tasks). I would really like to do justice to this new system by doing neat tricks like coding this blog to look a little more interesting, etc. Thing is…the amount of time I`m going to spend versus the returns is not promising. Besides that, playing around just tends to fubar the works. Especially if you don`t know what you`re doing. So…I`ll just sit back and behold it as a thing of beauty and continue to play Oblivion and a couple of other games I`ve installed.

Well…I have finally upgraded the computer…got tired of waiting for the new AM2 socket…and from the looks of it, performance in the new socket is not going to make much of a difference until the platform matures somewhat…at least a year. So now I am quite happy with the X2 4400+ on a MSI Diamond `board with 2 Gbs` of OCZ Platinum Enhanced Latency memory and an Nvidia 7900 GTX.

Couple of other things…but I`m just too lazy to spend time here to write them out (what little time I have for the computer…maybe later…

Ahh…I guess the next thing would be to try and get this blog looking like something with a little HTML…but I haven`t done any  of that for ages and…again…just too lazy…

today on the way home from a Saturday half-day, saw the first green sprigs on what would be a hardy type of hedge…it`s here (spring) and me is counting…

I`ve been wanting to post something on this topic, but haven`t gotten around to it. Hopefully soon.
